Affiliated Medical Distributor Services (AMEDS), a network of long-term care and home care distributors across the country and Adenna, a manufacture of exam gloves in the United States, announced the renewal of a three-year sole-source private label agreement between the two companies. ADENNA produces a full line of latex and synthetic exam gloves under the AMEDS private label brand CareGuard® for all AMEDS members. In addition, Adenna stocks and warehouses inventory, and provides cost effective logistic solutions to the group members. AMEDS members will be able to continue to purchase the CareGuard® gloves through Adenna three distribution centers in the U.S. at substantial savings. The three-year agreement is effective September 1, 2001.
