Adenna announces
its expansion plans for the year 2001. As a part of
a new Supply Chain Initiative, Adenna will open a new
regional office and distribution center in Atlanta,
Georgia, which represents the first step of Adenna's
ambitious expansion projects. The new office and distribution
center will provide its existing customers and new customers
with more cost-effective and streamlined options for
delivery of product to the Southeastern United States.
Max Lee, President of the Company, said,
"We will experience a much higher level of efficiency
with our new distribution center, which is very important
in the healthcare industry. We plan to have the new
distribution center staffed and operating by January
2001. We expect to begin seeing the financial benefits
of the new center during the first quarter of fiscal
year 2001."
Adenna manufactures high-quality branded
and private label latex and synthetic examination
gloves to the healthcare, dental, scientific, and
retail market sectors. Ralph Wadsworth, Executive
Vice President, said, "As our business grows,
it is imperative that we grow the infrastructure to
support our customers in the most cost effective way
we can."
The Company also has plans to open an
additional regional office and distribution center
in the Midwest during the first half of 2001.
